Biomedical IRB and Biomedical Cancer IRB

Ìý

The Biomedical IRB and Biomedical Cancer IRB review research studies are designed to evaluate the safety, effectiveness, or usefulness of an intervention including research on therapies (e.g., drugs, diet, exercise, surgical interventions, or medical devices), diagnostic procedures (e.g., CAT scans), and preventive measures as well as research that may generate data by means of questionnaires, surveys and/or reviewÌýof existingÌýrecords related to medical care or treatment.

The Biomedical Cancer IRB specializes in the review of cancer research.

The Social, Behavioral and Educational IRB

Ìý

The Social, Behavioral and Educational IRB review University protocols that involve human subjects and generate data by means of questionnaires, observation, studies of existing records, and other experimental designs involving exposure to some type of non-biomedical stimulus or intervention.
