The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is responsible for the administration and oversight of research听 involving the use of biological agents including but not limited to viruses,听 bacteria, fungi, parasites, recombinant and synthetic nucleic acids, select agents听 and toxins, human blood, cells and cell lines, stem cells, plant cell lines, non-rodent transgenic animals and animal blood, animal cells and cell lines, and other human and animal tissues and products.
