Conference Room
The I. Center conference听room is听a great "meeting" place!听It听is equipped with a grand conference table, dry-erase white board,听projector and screen, and a 48" flat screen LG television. The room is equipped with fluorescent lights and听incandescent dimming听lights, which听are a wonderful accessory that provides听increased听lighting control for presentations and oral defenses. Our conference room supplies optimal privacy for meetings of all levels, and has an adjacent kitchenette for听preparation听of all your meeting essentials (i.e. coffee, tea).听

Computer Lab
The computer lab in the I. Center provides a great environment for teaching, data analysis,听research, and听even a place to听just take a听break and check email.听Equipped with听both Microsoft (Windows 10), and Linux (CentOS 5) workstations, the computer room is capable of satisfying the听needs of all听sorts of computer users. The computers are supported by IT personnel, and听run specialized chemistry software, as well as the usual office automation packages.听 A partial list of applications includes:听 Cambridge Structural Database,听FIZ/NIST Inorganic Crystal Structural Database,听Bruker AXS suite (SAINT, SHELXTL, RLATT, etc.),听NCNR CIF Tools,听University of Illinois VMD,听ChemBioDraw Ultra 11,听Diamond 3,听SciFinder Scholar,听Spartan 鈥�02,听HKL2000 suite, and听the CCP4 suite
Laboratories and Prep Rooms
The听SEM听prep room (right)听contains听carbon and gold sputtering instruments, a microcentrifuge, a lab shaker, a well ventilated hood, and听a drying oven. This room is well equipped for users performing multiple sample characterizations.

Our听sample preparation laboratory for macromolecular samples is equipped with a sublimation system specified for MALDI sample prep.听Additionally, an X-ray听laboratory听is located in our center which听is often used for preparing, mounting,听and storing crystals for small molecule crystallography.
