Objectives:
At the conclusion of the activity, learners will be able to:
- Describe the challenges relating to curricular integration of the foundational sciences faced by both educators and students at health professions institutions.
- Illustrate types of educational tools that can help form bridges between foundational and clinical sciences across health professional training.
- Describe applications of educational tools relating to learning objectives, clinical presentation maps, and third-party resources to highlight the clinical relevance of foundational science disciplines.
- Enhance their understanding of the role of Communities of Practice in creating processes for robust product design and applications in health professions education.
