Improving Care

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is driving a model of team-based, communicative healthcare education.

A highlight of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s interprofessional education program is its Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center, where students collaborate on simulated clinical scenarios.

Team Building

Students from the fields of medicine, nursing, physician assistant, pharmacy, psychology, public health, social work, speech language pathology, and physical, occupational and respiratory therapy learn to communicate across disciplines and respect their colleagues’ roles at the patient’s bedside.

Patient-centered Practice

Through immersive, simulated clinical scenarios, students collaborate to keep the patient at the center of their practice for improved health outcomes.
