The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation sponsors numerous student organizations that focus on professional networking and social activities for students of all majors. The College strongly suggests that all students join at least one professionally focused student organization in order to prepare them for their future careers.

A national business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi conducts professional programs and field trips, while helping its members to gain experience in organization, administration, management, leadership, public relations and service. Regular meetings are held throughout the academic year.

The UT collegiate chapter of AMA provides opportunities for marketing majors as well as students interested in marketing to learn some of the essential skills and principles of marketing management and to network with students, local businesses, and marketing leaders from around the region. Chapter meetings are held every other week and are open to all interested students.

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation. All of our chapters are AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited. We are not a fraternity or sorority but an honors organization. The Gamma Epsilon Chapter at The University of Toledo of Beta Alpha Psi was charted on January 1st, 1966.ÌýSince 1981, approximately 1025 alumni have graduated from the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.Ìý


Beta Gamma Sigma is an International Honor Society that focuses on encouraging and honoring students who excel academically. BGS strives to enrich the lives of its members through the founding principles and values of honor and integrity, pursuit of wisdom, earnestness, and service. This Honor Society is an invitation based membership given to the top 10% of Juniors, 10% of Seniors, and 20% Graduate Students.Ìý

This gives you real-world business experience and access to resources to improve your professional skills.

This organization will provide students with a hands-on knowledge of what it takes to own/manage a business. They will be active in networking events and gain inside access to real-life experiences in the business world. Here students will get one-on-one business professional help on future endeavors.Ìý

This professional fraternity is especially for students interested in sales, sales management, and marketing. Pi Sigma Epsilon was created to promote marketing and sales as careers, and today is identified as one of the greatest impact forces training students for and encouraging them to enter these fields.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

The UT student chapter of SHRM provides students with opportunities for professional development and a means to network with human resource managers. Members include a variety of business and non-business majors, and regular meetings are open to all interested students.

Student Held Assets Return Portfolio (SHARP)

The Toledo Finance Club provides students with the opportunity for professional development, networking opportunities and hands-on investing experience through SHARP (Student Held Assets Return Portfolio). We have bi-weekly speaker events consisting of finance and business professionals sharing their career experiences and outside of speakers we participate in group learning sessions and case studies. In SHARP, students will take an active role in investment research, stock pitching and portfolio management. This organization will also seek to compete in school-wide and national case/investing competitions. Any Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student interested in the field of finance is welcome.Ìý

Women in Business Leadership (WiBL) Toledo was founded in September 2019. By following our mission, we have bi-weekly meetings where we host astounding business professional speakers, employ a mentorship program, actively participate in service projects and host socials/member bonding events. WiBL is open to all genders and majors.
