These admission requirements are for first-time college freshmen who are coming to 蘑菇视频 directly from high school. These apply even if you have taken post-secondary/College Credit Plus (CCP) or Tech Prep courses).

If you don't know the academic college that houses your major, find your major on our list of degrees organized by academic college.

If you are admitted to the University but do not meet requirements for your chosen degree program, you will be admitted into 蘑菇视频's Exploratory Studies program in University College. 听

Transcripts

High School Transcripts
Your high school must submit your official transcripts to 蘑菇视频. We recommend you request them by Dec.

Your official transcripts will determine your merit scholarship eligibility. After graduating high school, you also will need to request and submit an updated official transcript with the date of your high school graduation.

An official transcript is one that has been received directly from the issuing institution. It should bear the school鈥檚 seal, recent date, and an authorized signature. Under unusual circumstances, exceptions may be made at the discretion of a professional staff member.

Are you a home-schooled student?

You must submit an official, signed and dated transcript detailing the courses you completed, as well as any in progress at the time of submission. For Ohio students, a diploma and official letter of excuse written by your school district鈥檚 superintendent must be submitted to 蘑菇视频 by Aug. 1. If you live outside of Ohio, we honor your state's Department of Education home school regulations.

Are you interested in a Pre-Medicine, Pre-Law, Pre-Dental or Pre-Veterinarian Concentration?

Pre-med, pre-law, pre-dental and pre-vet are NOT majors at 蘑菇视频. They are pathways, or road maps, to a career in medicine, law or dentistry.

When you apply to 蘑菇视频, you will need to:

Choose a major.
Meet your program's admission requirements.
Select pre-medicine, pre-law, pre-dental or pre-veterinarian as an optional concentration on the 蘑菇视频 application.

Pre-Law Pre-Health Professions

Bacc2MD Pathway Program

If you are applying for the Bacc2MD pathway, you must:

Have a minimum unweighted 3.8 GPA and minimum 30 ACT/1410 SAT score, superscores not accepted (Students applying for this program are required to submit their test scores.)
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

When you apply to 蘑菇视频:

Select yes to using test scores as a part of your admission application
Select pre-med as an optional concentration on the 蘑菇视频 application
Answer "yes" when prompted on the application about whether you want to be considered for the Bacc2MD program

Always verify admission requirements and application deadlines with your department or program contact.

Admission to Jesup Scott Honors College requires a 3.5 high school GPA, however if your high school GPA falls just below the 3.5 threshold, we encourage you to still apply. You will have an opportunity to detail any circumstances that might have shaped your high school GPA in our extended review process.
